Kosovo Travel Day -- Part II
Our group of vagabond Gospel sharers walked down the fairy-tale streets of Prizren, Kosovo. We turned down a questionable alley but with blind trust (in Google Maps) we kept going. We passed a parking lot and the attendant came out to the street and asked us “Hostel?” With an emphatic “YES!” we responded simultaneously. He then directed us to a burgundy gate and rang the door bell. We were greeted by the hostel owner and led to our rooms. An older woman, who I’m guessing is his mother, asked us if we wanted coffee or tea. After giving her our orders, she disappeared and we stood around in awe.
We left Sarandë with ZERO plans. Zip. Zilch. Like blindly falling from a tightrope, we fell backwards into our one, true Safety Net. So far asking and trusting has been breathtakingly amazing! The LORD providing for those who trust Him is not a stale story lost in the pages of the Bible. He is active and He is loving and He is ready to provide for His children; all you need to do is ask.
We spent the next two days in Prizren getting acquainted with Kosovo’s culture in a city where English speakers are pretty easy to find. We also got to catch up with a few of our friends from one of the other teams in the local mall and a few coffee shops. It was a great time to refresh and recuperate from a spiritually tumultuous month. Little did we know that what we had experienced in Prizren was only the tip of the iceberg for what the following days would hold. Stay tuned!!
Peace & Blessings,
